#1 Kindness is one of the best human virtues

Moana’s kindness
when facing Te Ka’s
anger is the decisive
factor in helping Te
Ka return back to Te
Fiti – the living
mother island.
#2 You’ll never know how strong you are
Before embarking on the journey
to restore Te Fiti’s heart and
save her people, Moana didn’t
know a thing about sailing.
However, she learned that she
was far more powerful than she
ever imagined and moved
forward bravely. “Don’t hesitate,
just keep going”, that’s exactly
what Moana taught us.
#3 We all want to be loved

Do you know why Maui

stole Te Fiti’s heart in the
first place? The reason is
simply that he wants to
receive love and approval
from humans. In this
demi-god’s opinion, the
easiest way to achieve
this goal is to take Te
Fiti’s heart.
#4 Never be afraid of being different

It is not Moana, it is Grandma

Tala who teaches this lesson
most clearly. She never cared
about other people’s eyes nor
let their thoughts affect her life.
That’s what keeps her happy all
her life and she also tries to
teach this meaningful lesson to
Moana by encouraging her to
set sail to restore Te Fiti’s heart.
#5 Make a mistake? Fix it
Maui stole Te Fiti’s heart
because he thought it would
bring joy to humans. However,
this action had made the ocean
be severely damaged. With
Moana’s companion and help,
Maui realized his mistake and
repaired the damage he had
caused. Therefore, don’t be
afraid to admit your mistake, just
fix it!
#6 The ones we love never leave us, their lessons last

Grandma Tala passes away forever;

however, her valuable lessons are
always etched in Moana’s heart,
especially the lessons of difference
and family’s love. These precious
messages are one of the main factors
that help Moana successfully restore
Te Fiti’s heart and save her people.
#7 Never give up
Moana’s journey to go beyond the
reefs and restore Te Fiti’s heart has
encountered many obstacles. She was
caught in a typhoon, hit the rocky seas,
and was rejected by Maui – the demi-
god she sought for help. Despite many
failures, Moana still never gives up but
always keeps moving forward and
fighting for her goals. Never forget the
lesson Moana teaches you: “If you
don’t succeed at first, let’s try again!”
#8 Bravely face your fears

This lesson is best told in the

battle between Moana and Te
Ka. Facing Te Ka – the
Goddess of fire with terrible
power, Moana, of course, feels
a little scared. However, she
does not let this fear back her
down but decides to bravely
face it. All her efforts have paid
off with her successfully making
Te Ka return to Te Fiti.
#9 Follow your heart
Moana has always felt a special
connection to the ocean.
However, due to her people’s fear
of the ocean, she ignored this
feeling. It was only when Moana
listened to her heart and decided
to set sail that she understood
why she always had the feeling
that the ocean called her name.
#10 It’s easy to be fooled by shiny things

Tamatoa the crab creates a

liar filled with shiny things
to trick the fish to enter and
become its food. Tamatoa
himself is also a victim of
the trick with shiny things
when he gets distracted by
Moana covered in glowing
algae so that Maui can
take the opportunity to grab
his hook.
