What is District cooling ?


It is basically the centralized production and distribution of cooling energy. The output of one plant is enough to meet the cooling energy demand of dozens of buildings.

History of district cooling


The first ever district heating system goes back to the 14th century in a village in France. The idea was based on the distribution of warm water through wooden pipes . District cooling has its roots in the early nineteenth century .
