Introduction
Over the years, induction machines have become key components in industry
applications as mechanical power..
The most widely used IM machine in the industry is induction motor.
The main purpose of the induction motor is to simply run the machines.
Every machine requires different speed depending upon nature of work
In this regard there are different techniques used for the speed control of the
induction motor in the industry.

Problem Statement
Due to problem of speed control of motor, there are many concern about this.
Many machines did not provide expected results.
The problem is simply not to able to control speed of motor.
To avoid this, we have used different techniques to control the speed.

Induction Motor
An AC motor in which current in rotor is produced by electromagnetic induction
from magnetic flux in stator
Also called asynchronous motors because it run speed less then frequency of
supply current.

Speed Control of Induction Motor
The different techniques used for the control the speed of induction motor are as
follows
Control From Stator Side
Control From Rotor Side
Speed Control by frequency variation
Speed Control By Pole Changing
SPWM

Techniques
AC Voltage Controller
SPWM
AC Voltage Controller:
In this driver, we used TRICE to varying the voltage.
TRIAC is directly connected to main AC supply using resistance.
By attaching an Optocoupler with the gate of transistor to trigger the gate.

Selection of Microcontroller:
ATmega328P is a high performance yet low power consumption microcontroller
that’s able to achieve the most single clock cycle execution . It can commonly be
found as a processor in Arduino boards such as Arduino Fio and Arduino Uno.
Processors are simpler to use, with the usage of 8 bit and 16 bit instead of
32/64bit which are more complex
Readily usable without additional computing components with 32k bytes of
onboard self-programmable flash program memory.
Code Efficient, all 31 registers are directly connected to the arithmetic logic unit,
making it 10 times faster than conventional CISC microcontrollers.

Conclusion:
Speed control of three phase induction motor has achieved by applying the
techniques.
The proposed scheme for the diode is hierarchical inverter multicarrier SPWM
control.
An open loop speed control can be achieved by using the V / ƒ method.
This method can be implemented by changing the frequency used in the three-
phase induction motor at the supply voltage and the constant rate.

Future Work:
This project is just a model to control and monitor the industrial applications.
We can also control and monitor the other components which we use in our
industries by these technique.
Now a days these techniques can be implemented for the various controls of
speed in different machinery based on Ac drives
These techniques can also be proved very beneficial for the specific speed to run
a machine in industry
SPWM has constant switching frequency and can be helpful for the calculation of
losses of switching devices.
