Research Title:
Examining Citrus Microcarpa (Calamansi) Leaf Extracts' Cleaning
Effectiveness: A Comparison of Their Ability to Remove Stains on your
Belongings.
Reason: Citrus Microcarpa, also known as calamansi, has the ability to clean stains
and kill fungi, Calamansi is a tropical fruit and it can also be bought in the wet
market, according to some research it has the ability to clean stains and kill fungi,
and I wanted to know if its leaves have the same ability to clean the stains of my
personal belongings.
Overview: This study aims to investigate the potential of calamansi leaf as a stain
remover or cleaning agent. The primary focus of the research is to assess the
effectiveness of Calamansi leaf extracts in removing stains commonly found on
personal belongings.
Purpose of the Study:
This research seeks to contribute to the knowledge gap by examining the
cleaning effectiveness of Calamansi leaf extracts in comparison to
conventional cleaning agents. Specifically, the study aims to assess their
ability to remove stains commonly found on personal belongings such as
fabrics, plastics, and glass.
Title:
Exploring the Therapeutic Potential of Indigenous Medicinal Plant “Asthma
weed (Euphorbia Hirta)”: A Botanical Investigation into Traditional Healing
Practices.
Reason: I wanted to know whether their theoretical claims on Asthma
Weed (Euphorbia Hirta) are true. And if it is proven as true, I can explore
deeper by experimenting the extracts of Asthma Weed (Euphorbia
Hirta) and making potential medicine for other deseases.
Overview: This research focuses on unraveling the therapeutic
attributes of the indigenous medicinal plant “Asthma weed (Euphorbia
Hirta)”. By conducting a botanical investigation, the study aims to bridge
traditional healing practices with scientific scrutiny, shedding light on
the potential medicinal applications of this culturally significant plant.
Purpose of the Study:
The purpose of this research is to systematically explore the therapeutic
potential of Asthma weed( Euphoria Hirta) within Ligao City of Albay
through a comprehensive botanical investigation into traditional healing
practices.
Research title:
Phytochemical Analysis of Lagundi (Vitex Nagundo) Leaves.
Reason: Lagundi leaves are known as an alternative medicine used by
people in different communities in the Philippines: In this study, it will
also include the other possible benefits not just from the leaves, but
also from other various parts of the plant that can also be used as an
alternative medicine in other deseases.
Overview: This study focuses on discovering other possible active
compounds present from it. The study aims on conducting
phytochemical analysis to various parts ( roots, seed, bark, flower) of
Lagundi (Vitex Negundo) Plant to further assess its effectiveness in the
field of modern medicine.
Purpose of the Study:
“Lagundi” is the common term for vitex vegundo, which is
traditionally used to treat insect and snake bites, sore throat,
rheumatism, cough, fever, and clogged sinuses. Thus this study aims to
find data analysis from the phytochemical analysis from different parts
of the plant, opening to other health or medical benefits.
Research title:
Experimenting the chemical composition and medical potential of betel
(Piper betle) roots.
Reason: Betel (Piper betle) leaves have anti-diabetic, cardio vascular
anti-inflammatory, and more properties. I also want to know whether
the roots of betel has the same benefits or even more benefits that can
treat certain deseases.
Overview: This study is dedicated to unraveling the intricate chemical
makeup of Piper betle, commonly known as betel, with a particular
focus on its roots. This investigation seeks to contribute to the growing
body of knowledge surrounding the botanical, chemical, and medicinal
aspects of betel plants.
Purpose of the Study
Betel roots can explore about chemical composition of betel roots to
identify compounds that can contribute to its properties and potential health
benefits or effects. Examine its effects on various health conditions and
mechanisms behind those effects. I also want to know about how the betel
roots can be used for disease prevention.
