Jeff’s Story

By : Kenza, Fatma, Jenine, Khaled,

Hazem
One normal morning…
Jeff was siting on the pavement, starving. He
usually tried to sell enough fish for all three
meals, but unfortunately, today, it was raining,
and not a lot of people had come outside. The rain
had stopped now, but it left a cold and empty
space inside his tummy.
But then..

As he was looking up, he saw many

people walking past him. But none of
them wanted to buy his fish. Jeff was
left on the pavement feeling hungry
and cold. Just then, a strange man
came and said, “Hi, here’s some
money, I hope it will help you.” Jeff
was really, really happy. “What’s your
name?” Asked Jeff. “Mitch,” said the
man. “Well thanks a lot Mitch!”
Replied Jeff.
Pleasantly..

Mitch went to a shop to see how

much he could buy. He then saw a
family. The dad was counting his
money from his purse. “Look, I’m
really sorry, but can’t you give us a-,”
then he broke off. “Here, I think you
need it more then I do,” said Jeff,
handing the dad all his money.
“Really? Wow, thank you! We will
remember you!” The dad paid and left
the shop. Mitch left the shop too,
feeling hungry but glad he managed
to do a good deed.
Many years later, a girl name Lilly walked into an old
antique shop. The old, old shop owner greeted her. “Hello
there ma’am! How can I help you today? I’m sorry if the
items are a bit dusty, but that’s only because we haven’t
gotten good business lately,” he apologized, then paused,
“Wait, it’s you!” “I’m sorry, but do I know you?” Lilly asked,
confused. Then a glimmer came into her eyes. “Oh wait!
You’re the man who helped my family all those years ago! I
do owe you some money!” “It’s alright!,” laughed Jeff, “you
don’t owe me anything!” “Well, here, at least take this
bracelet, it’s worth a lot of money. It used to belong to my
mother. It’s supposed to be lucky!” She exclaimed, smiling.
“Goodbye, ma’am!” Said Jeff.
Thank you for your time :)
