Customer Menu

At the end of this topic users will be able to:


Create new individual customer
Create new non-individual customer
Validate and commit customer record
Create and activate prospect customer
Amend customer and prospect customer
Set, remove, authorize and delete posting
restrictions
Operate customer and prospect enquiry and
search

Fill in all personal details like


Full name: write full name of individual customer
Given name: write first and middle name of the
customer
Former Name: If the customer changes the name with
court the previous name will write on this place
Title: This field contains various title values;
accordingly, you can select the appropriate title
Mother’s Full Name: write full name of customer’s
mother name
Date of Birth: specifies the customer date of birth.
R21 with convert Ethiopia calendar
Create New Individual Customer

Fill in all personal details like


to Gregorian and vice versa
Gender: select according to gender of the customer
Mnemonic: Specifies an alternative easy means of
referencing the customer. In order to avoid customer
duplication, Mnemonics validation rule has defined.
Therefore, the first character will receive from First
name Frist latter, from middle name Frist latter and
from last name first letter and the remaining character
will be numeric which is received from date of birth and
define in default 01.
Marital Status: select the marital status of the
customer from dropdown lists.

 Physical Address: allows definition of the customer’s physical
address and fill the following fields accordingly: Country,
Town/City, Region, Sub city, Woreda, Kebele, House No, Street

of the customer

 Classification: Fill all the Classification of the customer.

insert customer’s phone number, email

Communication Detail:
Internet Banking: Select yes if the customer
uses internet banking service
Mobile Banking: Indicate whether the
customer is subscribed to the mobile banking
service or not.
Alerts with SMS

After complete the customer information
click validate and commit the record.

Finally, transaction complete message will pop
up
Now you are able to create a customer record
successfully.
Authorize / Delete Customer
Now you are able to create a customer
record successfully
Click on Retail operation > customer
Menu> Authorize/Delete customer
Authorize / Delete Customer
Then Insert customer number or Mnemonic
and click on find
Authorize / Delete Customer
 Then Click on authorization deal.

After authorizing the customer transaction
complete message will pop up.

 Fill in the information
 Name of Entity: - write full name of the New Non-
Individual customer.
 Abbreviated Name: - write full name of the New Non-
Individual customer.
 Mnemonic: Specifies an alternative easy means of
referencing the customer. In order to avoid customer
duplication, Mnemonics validation rule has defined.
Therefore, From the name of Institution 9 alpha character
will be resaved which is “GEDABENG” and the remaining
character will be numeric which is Define in defaults 01.
 Date of Registered: specifies the customer date of
registration. R21 with convert Ethiopia calendar to
Gregorian and vice versa

Create Prospect Customer
Prospective customers are the ones who are
not yet a customer of the bank, but may
become a customer in the near future.
Click on Retail operations > Customer >
Create New Individual customer

Insert physical address and click on validate
and commit.

After committing the record, the transaction
complete message will appear which shows
that you are able to create the record
