BACKGROUND
Nissan motor company ltd is a Japanese multinational automobile
manufacturer
It is headquartered in nishi- ku, yokohama, Japan
In 1933, Nissan was found in Japan.
The company sells its vehicles under the Nissan Infiniti and Datsun
brands
Since 1999 Nissan has been part of renault-nissan-mitsibushi alliance
Later in 1933 after Nissan Group zaibatsu took control of DAT Motors,
the last syllable of Datson was changed to "sun", because "son" also
means "loss" in Japanese, hence the name "Datsun"
history
• when founder Yoshisuke Aikawa became president of
Nihon Sangyo in 1928. Primarily dealing in foundries and
auto parts,.
• A company called Nihon Sangyou, or Japan Industries,
mergedwith what would become Nissan Motor Company in
1931.
• In 1914, the company produced its first car, called the DAT.

Nissan has established itself as a company operating &
selling automotive and marine equipment.
As of March 2016, 160000+ employees are employed in the
company globally.
In the automotive market, it holds 6.5% market share as of
March 2016 and aspires to make it to 8%
Currently, it has products such as passenger cars, SUV and
Sports vehicles in the automotive businesses segment.

• The Nissan GT-R is a high-performance sports car
and grand tourer produced by Nissan that was

Nissan Skyline model lineup since that name is now
reserved for Nissan's luxury-sport vehicles.
• The GT-R shares the Nissan FM platform with the
now separate Nissan Skyline luxury car and the
Nissan Z-car sports car.
