• MS1- To impart quality education at undergraduate, post graduate and
doctoral levels to produce proficient Electrical Engineers to cater to the
national and global needs
• MS2- To engage in research and development in thrust areas of Electrical
Engineering
• MS3- To inculcate scientific and technological spirit and professional ethics
among all stakeholders and collaborate with premier Institutes and

Future Plans-Short-Term Future Plans (2
Years) :
1. Organizing short intensive courses, conferences and seminars on current
technological developments which will benefit the surrounding community.
2. Redesigning the Syllabus (R24) for UG, PG and PhD as per the NEP Implementation
for the academic year 2024-25.
3. Recruiting all positions of research scholars to work on the latest research problems.
4. Establishment of new research laboratories (like EV and Renewable Energy, etc..).
5. Establishment of new Dept. Library facility at the departmental level to a valuable
resource for students, faculty, and researchers

(5 Years):
1. Industry Collaboration: Strengthen ties with industry partners to facilitate
internships, co-op programs, and collaborative research projects. Incorporate industry
feedback into curriculum development to enhance the relevance of educational
programs.
2. Infrastructure and Facilities: Invest in and upgrade the latest laboratory facilities to
support the latest technologies and experiments. Ensure access to state-of-the-art
equipment and tools for both research and educational purposes.
3. Preparation for NBA accreditation: Regular reviews and updates to the
improvement year to year will help the department stay competitive and provide high-
quality
education.

(10 Years):
1. Academic Excellence: Attain and maintain NBA accreditation from professional
bodies. Establish the department as a center of excellence in electrical engineering
education recognized nationally and internationally.
2. Global Engagement: Explore opportunities for international collaboration, student
exchange programs, and joint research initiatives with institutions abroad. Enhance
global perspectives in the curriculum to prepare students for a diverse and
interconnected world.
3. Technology Transfer and Commercialization: Explore avenues for technology
transferand commercialisation of research innovative outcomes. Facilitate the process
of takinginnovations from the lab to the market.
