SCREWS AND BOLTS STARTED BEING USED IN EUROPE. DURING
THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, MACHINES WERE DEVELOPED TO
MASS-PRODUCE BOLTS AND NUTS. IN 1841, JOSEPH WHITWORTH
CREATED THE FIRST STANDARD THREAD SYSTEM, WHICH MADE
BOLTS AND NUTS FIT BETTER AND WORK MORE RELIABLY.
TODAY, THEY ARE USED EVERYWHERE IN CONSTRUCTION,
