TRAINS
BY MSR SIR
Formulas
1.Train Vs stationary object of no length : If a train pass a pole /standing man/a
tree/a building
Length of the train=Speed of the train x Time
2. Train Vs stationary object of certain Length: If a train pass a bridge /
a platform.
Lenth of Train+ Lenth of Bridge = Speed x Time
3. Two trains with speeds x km/hr and y km/hr.
i) If two trains are in the same direction:
Sum of the lengths of the two Trains = (x-y) x time
ii) If two Trains are in the opposite direction:
sum of the lengths of the two trains=(x+y)x Time
