WHAT IS ORGANIC FARMING?

 Organic farming is an agricultural system that


prioritizes ecological balance by avoiding
synthetic inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, and
antibiotics.
 It emphasizes techniques that favor the health
of the soil, plants, and animals, and the overall
environment.
PURPOSE OF ORGANIC FARMING
The primary purpose of organic farming is to produce
high-quality, nutritious food while minimizing the
negative impacts on the environment.

WEEK - 1

During our first week, we collected the total information of our


community service project. We gathered information from
various sources about Organic Farming.
WEEK - 2

 During our second week, we collected more


information about organic farming in detail from
various resources.
 We also discussed regarding the title of our Project.
WEEK - 3
 During our third week we conducted awareness
campaign to aware the people on our selected
community
 To aware the people avout various aspects of organic
farming.
WEEK - 4
 During the fourth week,conducted awareness
campaign on considerations for converting from
conventional farming to organic farming on our
selected community.
WEEK - 5
During our fifth week, we conducted aawareness campaign on
crop planning,water,nutrient management systems in organic
farming.
WEEK - 6
 During our sixth week,we decided to aware farmers of the
Community about Pest,weed,disease management in organic
farming
 Also to make farmers familiar with organic practices.
WEEK - 7
 During our seventh week, we prepared Feedback report on methods
and practices of organic farming.
 The practices and methods we told to the farmers are very helpful
for them.
WEEK 8
During the eight week,we came to know about organic farming
importantance,advantages,disadvantages and
applications.Then we analysed how each and every organic
farming resource works and how it helps the people.
CONCLUSION

 We've seen how organic farming methods work together


to create a healthy and balanced system.
 From building healthy soil to encouraging biodiversity,
organic farming prioritizes long-term sustainability.
 By supporting organic farms, we can contribute to a
healthier planet and delicious, nutritious food for all.
