Introduction
Olympic and paralympic games are
international sporting events that celebrate
excellence, diversity and the spirit of
competition. The olympic games, originating
in ancient greece, bring together athletes
from all over the world in various sporting
disciplines every four years. For their part,
the paralympic games, started in 1960,
highlight the talent and efforts of athletes
with physical, sensory or intellectual
disabilities. Both events symbolize global
unity, and the transformative power of sport.

CONCLUSION
• The Olympic Games are the most important sporting event in the world, with a history dating
back to ancient Greece, where they were celebrated in honor of the gods. Revived in 1896 thanks
to Pierre de Coubertin, they have become a symbol of unity, peace and human excellence. This
event, which brings together athletes from all continents, represents much more than sporting
competition: it is a space where universal values such as respect, friendship and equality are
promoted.
• However, they also face significant challenges, such as high organizational costs, environmental
impact, and political tensions that sometimes arise between participating nations. Despite this,
the Olympic spirit remains strong, reminding us of the potential of sport to unite humanity and
demonstrate that, regardless of differences, we all share the desire to improve ourselves and live
together in harmony.
