We’ve just received a fresh production run of the original two studded designs, the three new designs we released last year, the two “skinny” belts which were recently released, the Oscar x Oscar belts, and two key fobs. We can’t keep these things in stock and they take quite a while to produce as each belt is hand made by his in-house crew in Los Angeles. These are available now at all six of our stores.

DETAILS OF THE BONCOURA 34 JEAN MODEL IN THE WORDS OF HISASHI MORISHIMA, EDITED FOR CLARITY BY SELF EDGE: Here we have Boncoura’s first 5 pocket wide leg jean. Hidden rivets feature the original BONCOURA logo and other details tailored to match the era, including unique rivet shapes. The constructional stitching features a balanced arrangement of yellow and orange threads. The waistband combines single-needle and chainstitching, adding character to the denim. The V-stitch on the fly and the way we sew the belt loops, known as “Banzai,” give a robust touch, making it a bit thicker compared to the 66 jean model. The belt loops have a prominent appearance. The back pockets are stitched in a single stroke. The crotch stitching employs 0-gauge threads, and the coin pocket showcases a meticulous use of the fabric’s selvage. The hem chainstitching combines orange and yellow threads. We use a wide range of stitch gauges, from 0 to 50, and three different thread colors to achieve this comprehensive detailing. …fabric last year so no retailer had this model in stock for well over a year. They’re finally back, but Sugar Cane has stated going forward they will not be available year round and will only be produced once a year, along with their other flagship mixed fiber model, the Okinawa. The Hawaii model is available now at all of our stores, but probably not for long.
