Job Description
As a Data Modeler at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and modeling data platforms. Your expertise in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, will be essential for the success of our projects. You will need to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with 6+ years of experience in a similar role. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your strong expertise in data modeling techniques to create effective conceptual, logical, and physical data models. - Demonstrate proficiency in Power BI and its various components, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. - Apply your hands-on experience with Power BI to create semantic layers for self-service reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively work on data integration and ETL processes using tools such as ADF, SSIS, or other relevant platforms. - Utilize your solid SQL skills for data querying and manipulation to support various data modeling tasks. - Stay updated with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles to enhance the reporting experience. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - 6+ years of experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect, or similar role, with a focus on data platform design and modeling. - Strong expertise in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. - Proficiency in Power BI and its various components, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. - Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, relational databases, and dimensional modeling. - Hands-on experience with Power BI and creating semantic layers for self-service reporting. - Experience with data integration and ETL tools, such as ADF, SSIS or other relevant platforms. - Solid SQL skills for data querying and manipulation. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles is a plus.,
