Job Description
As a skilled Chef at our upcoming Caf & Salon in Hamirpur, you will play a crucial role in leading our kitchen operations and ensuring exceptional taste, quality, and consistency in our menu offerings. Your creativity and passion for food will be key in developing new recipes, seasonal specials, and innovative menu ideas. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and present high-quality dishes in line with caf standards. - Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all menu items. - Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times. - Manage kitchen inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers for fresh ingredients. - Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. - Monitor food costs, minimize wastage, and optimize kitchen efficiency. - Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams for timely service and special events. To excel in this role, you should have: - Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a similar culinary role. - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and kitchen safety. - Creativity and passion for food presentation and flavor. - Excellent time management and multitasking skills. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced caf environment. - Leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate kitchen staff. - Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control. - Culinary degree or certification is a plus. Moreover, we prefer candidates from Hamirpur or nearby areas who are flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays and possess a positive, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
