Role Overview: You will be joining EY as a Guidewire Claim Centre Support with 6 to 8 years of experience. Your main responsibility will be to provide Guidewire Policy Center Support and Maintenance. Job Description
As a Guidewire Claim Centre Support with 6 to 8 years of experience, your role at EY will involve providing maintenance and support for Guidewire Claim Center, managing deployments, conducting testing, and performing root cause analysis & defect fixes. You must be flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, UK Shift) and On Call Support on a rostered rotational basis. Your responsibilities will include managing Guidewire CC Configuration and Integration. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Guidewire Claim Center Support and Maintenance with 6-8 years of experience - Flexible to work in shifts and provide On Call Support on a rotational basis - Proficient in maintaining and supporting applications, enhancements, testing, managing deployments, root cause analysis & defect fixes - Manage Guidewire CC Configuration and Integration Skills And Attributes For Success: - Deep understanding of Guidewire framework, implementation, architecture, and components - Experience in Guidewire Claim Center 9.0 version+ - Well-versed in development streams - Configuration/Integration/Both - Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting/UI/Data Model) - Implement Rules using GOSU scripting, Metadata Configuration, Integration with External Systems - Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT - Strong in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Knowledge and experience on Tomcat or WebSphere/WebLogic - Real-time experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Understanding of software development best practices - Excellent business communication and leadership skills - Prior Client facing experience - Experience with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-UI, eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins - Familiarity with service management, change management activities, SLAs, and estimator tools - Worked on incident management and problem management Qualifications Required: - Guidewire CC Config - Proficiency in Gosu Scripting, UI & Data Models - Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT - Strong knowledge of SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Experience with Tomcat and/or Web sphere/WebLogic Certifications: - Guidewire CC (Good to have) - ITIL certification (Good to have) EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) offers a dynamic and global delivery network with opportunities to work on exciting projects with well-known brands. Role Overview: At EY, you will have the opportunity to work as a Java, Spring, portal developer with 6 to 8 years of experience. Your role will involve supporting applications using a technology stack that includes Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting applications, conducting testing, managing deployments, and performing root cause analysis & defect fixes. Key Responsibilities: - Support portal developer for applications including Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS - Flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, US Shift) and provide On Call Support on a rotational basis - Design, build, and support the Business Objects environment and services - Maintain Business Objects reports and universe architecture and design - Troubleshoot Business Objects report performance issues and raise SAP cases when necessary - Manage middleware applications with various interfaces including Guidewire system - Design, modify, and implement changes to existing applications built in Java, Spring boot & Hibernate - Collaborate with customers and delivery teams on implementations and remote services - Engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, provide demos, and obtain sign-off - Exhibit punctual and attentive attendance at all project meetings - Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills - Good understanding of ITIL v3/v4 processes - Experience in maintenance, support, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment - Prioritize incident management and problem management Skills And Attributes For Success: - Deep understanding of Java, Angular, and Hibernate - Experience in Java, Angular, Hibernate, Spring boot, and AWS - Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT - Strong knowledge of SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and any Enterprise Messaging System - Working knowledge of Tomcat or WebSphere/WebLogic - Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration - Experience in the Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty - Understanding of software development best practices - Excellent business communication and leadership skills - Client-facing experience - Familiarity with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-U, eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins Qualification Required: To qualify for this role, you must have proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Development Tools.
