Job Description
Role Overview: As a Lead Software Engineer in the Event Platform Services Team at Salesforce, you will be responsible for building integrated services aligned to the Future State Architecture. Your role will involve ensuring excellence in scalability, performance, and user experience while devising state-of-the-art solutions to meet the evolving needs of users. You will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Build new and exciting components using cutting-edge technology to enhance scalability and efficiency in the market. - Leverage evolving technologies and platforms to develop highly scalable solutions that meet current and future business needs. - Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing. - Drive continuous improvement by focusing on process, controls, scalability, and maturity. - Lead your team by example in utilizing engineering best practices and understanding risks to make relevant trade-offs. - Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Architects, and Lead Engineers in the application design process. - Engage with Product Managers to clarify customer requirements, propose workarounds, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Mentor and inspire team members through code reviews, knowledge sessions, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. - Establish and uphold high standards for code quality, architecture, performance, and reliability. - Design and implement data architectures that align with business requirements and long-term goals. - Thrive in a culture of high ownership, accountability, delivery, and innovation. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of professional software development experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining distributed production systems. - At least 2+ years of hands-on technical leadership, driving the architecture and design of scalable systems. - Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming (such as Java) and scripting languages (such as NodeJs). - Experience with developing SaaS products over AWS public cloud infrastructure. - Proficiency in API architecture, design patterns, and implementing RESTful/GraphQL services. - Strong expertise in developing and optimizing data models across relational and non-relational database systems. - Experience with API security best practices and monitoring/logging tools. - Proficiency in event-driven architecture and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. As a Sr Dev AEM-Akamai (Developer III - Software Engineering) at UST, you will be responsible for designing and developing Adobe AEM applications, both front end and back end.
