Job Description
As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting macOS & Windows devices, asset lifecycle, and secure endpoints using Jamf Pro & Microsoft Intune. Your role will involve providing on-site/remote IT support, setting up event AV systems, and ensuring compliance across corporate systems. Key Responsibilities: - Manage support for macOS & Windows laptops - Configure, deploy, and maintain systems via Jamf Pro & Intune - Ensure device security through encryption, patching, and antivirus software - Package and deploy applications using MDM - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues - Support AV setups for events, townhalls, and conferences - Maintain asset inventory and manage asset lifecycle - Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi issues, working with Meraki, Cisco, Juniper devices - Provide VPN support and ensure secure remote access - Maintain IT documentation and drive process improvements Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in macOS & Windows 10/11 administration - Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro & Intune - Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM - Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and Wi-Fi - Experience with Cisco Meraki, Catalyst, and Juniper devices - Ability to set up and troubleshoot AV systems for events - Knowledge of endpoint security, encryption, and compliance standards - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Customer-first attitude with attention to detail Work Mode: - On-site in Chennai/Coimbatore with flexible hours for events and support as required If you are interested in this position, please email your resume to hr@sd123.in.
