Job Description
You will be responsible for executing electrical maintenance activities for Balance of Plant (BoP) and Coal Handling Plant (CHP) systems to ensure continuous operations. Your main focus will be on conducting AOH/COH to enhance system integrity and performance, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with safety and legal standards for operational efficiency and business sustainability. **Responsibilities:** - Lead Electrical BoP/CHP - Execute proper electrical maintenance activities for BoP, CHP, including various systems like RO Plant, Sea Intake, FGD, Hydrogen plant, DM plant, Conveyor belts, Crusher house, Stacker Reclaimers, etc., to ensure continuous operational reliability. - Prepare and update SOPs, JSAs, and SMPs for BoP/CHP and associated areas. - Support the implementation of improvement projects. - Execute comprehensive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. - Conduct annual overhauling, maintenance during outages, and troubleshoot equipment failures. - Maintenance And System Enhancement Operations - Execute proactive maintenance and testing, monitor business associates performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. - Perform timely completion of PM, CM, and condition monitoring activities. - Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements. - Engage in repairing and refurbishment activities for equipment. - Inventory And Resource Management - Monitor the condition and availability of all BoP/CHP equipment. - Assist in spares inventory management and testing of electrical equipment. - Create PRs for materials and services, and prepare SES for completed services. - Business Sustainability - Implement and follow guidelines within the department. - Maintain compliance with legal and statutory requirements. - Mitigate hazardous processes and ensure safety through proper training and adherence to protocols. - Digitalisation And Automation - Execute comprehensive Digitalisation strategies for operational efficiency. - Implement process and system improvements, monitor data, and identify trends for improvement. **Qualifications:** - Educational Qualification: - BE/B.tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Work Experience: - 11+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within power plants or heavy industries. - Preferred Industry: - Experience in the power generation industry, specifically with BoP/CHP operations.
