As a Construction Planning Engineer, your role will involve: - Planning construction activities for various categories of Dam, including Concrete Conveying Systems, Underground Works like Tunnels, Shafts, Caverns, etc. - Planning infrastructure facilities such as Batching Plant, Temporary sheds, Workshops, Material Stores, Residential Colonies, Project Access Roads, etc., especially in mountainous terrain. - Preparing construction cycle times, duration estimates, and resource planning for different project components. - Developing Construction Method Statements and coordinating with the drafting team for Construction Sequence drawings. - Identifying and implementing the best techniques, equipment, and formwork for construction activities to ensure technical feasibility, efficiency, and alignment with project objectives. - Monitoring construction methods on-site, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency, resolve challenges, and address unforeseen issues in consultation with the team. - Participating in tender preparation, understanding customer requirements, and preparing presentations within defined deadlines. - Creating Construction schedules using MS Project / Primavera, ensuring timely milestone achievements. - Conducting periodic site visits for discussions and coordination with the project team. - Engaging with relevant vendors, evaluating their technical proposals, and maintaining documents as per the Quality Management System. - Recording construction process changes, lessons learned, document & drawing revisions, approvals, and project scope changes. - Preparing technical reports, including site assessments and post-project analysis.
