Job Description
Role Overview: As a Cost Planner and Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates, as well as develop and update project budgets and cost plans. You will play a crucial role in tendering and procurement by preparing and evaluating Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and tender documents, and assisting in the selection and procurement of subcontractors and labour contractors. Your attention to detail will be key when tracking and verifying subcontractor and labour contractor bills based on work progress, ensuring timely certification of RA (Running Account) bills and final bills, and coordinating with site engineers for measurement verification and work certification. Additionally, you will assist in drafting and administering contracts, monitor project expenditures, prepare monthly cost/value reconciliations and financial reports, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage risks effectively. Your role will also involve liaising with project managers, engineers, accounts, contractors, and vendors, attending progress review meetings, and presenting billing and cost updates. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field - Proven experience in cost planning, estimation, and contract administration - Strong knowledge of Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and tender documents - Familiarity with subcontractor and labour contractor billing processes - Excellent financial and risk management skills - Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders effectively - Good communication and presentation skills Additional Details: The company offers health insurance and Provident Fund benefits for this full-time position.
