Key Responsibilities: - Reactive Problem Management (Solving the Past): - Problem Identification & Logging: - Identify and log problems based on incident data, trends, and analysis. - Receive inputs from Major Incident reports, technical teams, and the Service Desk. - Ensure all problems are recorded with necessary details in the Problem Management tool. - Problem Categorization & Prioritization: - Categorize problems to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Prioritize problems based on impact, urgency, and severity on business operations, often using a risk assessment matrix. - Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Facilitation: - Lead and facilitate RCA sessions using techniques like 5 Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis. - Work with technical teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to diagnose the root cause. - Workaround Identification: - Identify and document effective workarounds for known errors until a permanent fix is implemented. - Communicate workarounds to the Service Desk and incorporate them into Known Error Records. - Known Error Management: - Create and maintain Known Error Records in the Known Error Database. - Ensure KERs contain a clear description of the error, root cause, and any workarounds or solutions. - Resolution & Change Management: - Propose and coordinate the implementation of permanent fixes or solutions. - Raise Requests for Change (RFCs) and work closely with the Change Manager. - Proactive Problem Management (Preventing the Future): - Trend Analysis: - Analyze incident, event, and monitoring data to identify potential problems or weaknesses. - Perform trend analysis on recurring incidents to identify underlying problems. - Risk Assessment: - Identify components at risk of failing and proactively address them. - Initiate preventive actions to avoid future incidents. - Preventive Action: - Initiate preventive actions such as software updates, patches, or hardware replacements. - Contribute to the design of new services to incorporate lessons learned from past problems. - Reporting & Communication: - Management Reporting: - Produce regular reports on Problem Management performance, including key metrics. - Report on the effectiveness of major problem resolutions and ROI of proactive initiatives. - Stakeholder Communication: - Communicate problem status, root causes, and resolution plans to key stakeholders. - Act as the central point of communication for major problem investigations. - Process Ownership: - Maintain and improve the Problem Management process, policies, and procedures. - Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and integration with other ITSM processes. Qualifications Required: - Essential Skills: - Analytical & Problem-Solving abilities. - Root Cause Analysis experience. - Excellent Communication skills. - Strong Influence & Facilitation skills. - ITSM Knowledge, specifically ITIL framework understanding. - Attention to Documentation. - Qualifications: - Mandatory ITIL 4 Foundation certification. - Highly desirable to have ITIL 4 Specialist or Strategist certification. - Minimum 5 years of IT Service Management experience, with at least 2 years in Problem Management or similar role. - Practical experience with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Jira Service Management, etc.,

Job Description
As a Suspension Engineer at Ather based in IBC, Bangalore and aligned with the Team Lead - VDC Design, you will be a key member of the VE - VDC design team. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Work with suppliers to integrate the suspension system and tyres into Ather's product. - Create drawings as per standards and ensure TC release. - Support all aspects of product development and build. - Act as the Single Point of Contact for all internal and external communication. - Evaluate suspension and tyres from vendors technically. - Write detailed requirements for the tyres and suspension system. - Generate concepts and options based on vendor inputs. - Develop innovative test plans that accurately reflect use cases. - Liaise with suppliers to meet internal release and testing milestones. - Define End of Line requirements for the vendor. - Own all interfaces internally and perform Interaction FMEAs. - Adhere to Design Maturity Model. - Draft and execute DVP for suspension and tyres. - Coordinate testing to ensure validation timelines are met. - Use root cause analysis methods such as Pareto chart, Ishikawa, 5 why, FMEA to identify the source of problems in the field, assembly, and design. - Come up with reliable, cost-effective solutions within tight constraints in a production environment. What we are looking for: - Deep understanding of suspension systems and tyres for two-wheelers. - Appreciation of Vehicle Dynamics testing. - Suspension sizing and selection. - DFx of various components of a suspension system. - Awareness of relevant quality and homologation standards. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent with specialization in Mechanical/Machine Design/Vehicle dynamics. - 4-8 years of relevant experience working in suspension design and vehicle dynamics.,
