Job Description
As an Associate Engineer - Panels & Switch Board at Eaton, you will play a crucial role in interpreting detailed non-standard switchboard product customer requirements and translating them into the final design package for smoother manufacturing. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Proficiency in understanding customer requirements, preparing general arrangement drawings, schematics, single lines, component selection, and calculations, as well as BOM for given customer requirements. - Working independently on various Switchboard product offerings like General purpose, IFS, GQC, and Metering switchboards with minimal supervision. - Demonstrating experience in IEC/UL/NEMA Electrical standards and hands-on expertise with PLC applications, I/O modules, synchronization relays, contactors, event recorders, control logics design, control power interlocking relays, and control wiring details. - Expanding and developing team capabilities by adding new responsibilities such as sales/CSR roles, technician roles, etc. - Sound knowledge of industrial communication protocols like RS485, Ethernet, INCOM, Profibus, Modbus, patch panels, Ethernet switches, Gateways, and dashboard lite for creating automation configurations. - Utilizing the PLC testing ecosystem for PLC-integrated switchboards and executing segment-specific data center, Solar & IFS switchboard orders. - Providing technical training and mentoring to new engineers for smooth on-the-job onboarding and assimilation. - Collaborating with Marketing and Proposals teams by reviewing specifications to understand customer requirements and identifying automation/digitalization/process improvements for productivity & quality enhancements. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Power Systems. - 0-4 years of hands-on experience in Electrical design. Skills: - Experience in working with Global partners is a plus. - Driving the Innovation culture, Process improvement, Cost out focus, Smart solution to the electrical products, etc. - Developing an electro-mechanical team from scratch, identifying skill set requirements, and creating a long-term strategic plan for the Panels and switchboards product portfolio. - Excellent delegation skills, decision-making, setting clear objectives for the team, and striving for continuous improvement. - Building peer relationships, finding common ground, and solving problems for the good of all. - Action-oriented, enjoying working hard, being full of energy, and taking on challenging tasks. - Possessing good communication skills.,

As a Senior Engineer Projects (EHV Electrical) at Electropath Services (I) Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for managing the execution, commissioning, and delivery of EHV electrical projects up to 400kV. Your role will require strong technical expertise, on-site leadership, and coordination skills to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, manage, and oversee EHV project execution, including installation, testing, and commissioning of substations, switchyards, and transmission lines. - Review technical drawings, SLDs, protection schemes, and cable layouts to ensure compliance with project and client requirements. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project progress. - Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, safety standards, and quality protocols. - Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, and work schedules. - Supervise and guide site engineers, supervisors, and contractors during execution. - Monitor testing & commissioning activities of transformers, circuit breakers, CT/PTs, relays, etc. - Generate project reports, progress updates, and documentation for management and client review. - Ensure compliance with IEC / IS standards, electrical codes, and utility norms. - Identify risks and propose technical or operational solutions to mitigate them.
