Your responsibilities will include: - **VMC Programming and Setting:** Developing and implementing CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) to produce complex components. Setting up and calibrating VMC machines as per part drawings. - **Operations Programming:** Programming and executing operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, interpolation turning, milling, and slotting. - **Software Proficiency:** Utilizing Power Mill 2016 and 2017 software for programming and simulation. - **Technical Drawing Interpretation:** Understanding and creating models from technical drawings. - **Tool Selection:** Selecting appropriate cutting tools based on material specifications. - **Quality Control:** Maintaining records of quality inspections and ensuring adherence to quality standards. - **Production Management:** Operating machines to meet cycle times while ensuring quality requirements are met. - **First Piece Approval:** Conducting first-piece inspections and completing production reports as required. - **Housekeeping:** Maintaining 5S standards and ensuring cleanliness around the machine area. - **Safety Compliance:** Following all company safety protocols. Your skills should include proficiency in: - **CNC Programming Expertise:** Developing and optimizing CNC programs for VMCs. - **G-code and M-code Proficiency:** Ability to write and interpret G-code and M-code for machine operations. - **Blueprint Interpretation:** Reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints. - **Quality Control Techniques:** Experience in conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to quality standards. - **Machining Techniques:** Knowledge of various machining operations and techniques. - **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. - **Adaptability:** Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing work processes. - **Teamwork:** Collaborative skills to work effectively with colleagues and other departments. Job Description
As a Piping Discipline Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the piping discipline in various project phases including proposal, detailed design, and construction. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the piping discipline, planning, assigning, and managing piping engineering and design activities across multiple projects. - Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI, as well as client requirements. - Demonstrating technical knowledge in areas such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), pipe routing and layout models (2D/3D), pipe stress analysis, isometric drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), line lists, and valve data sheets. - Supervising pipe material selection, specifications, and providing procurement support. - Collaborating with various teams including Mechanical, Civil, Process, Structural, Project, and Procurement teams, as well as interfacing with clients, vendors, and construction teams to resolve technical issues. - Mentoring and developing piping engineers and designers within the team. - Monitoring discipline progress, productivity, and quality, and reporting updates to the project manager to ensure adherence to man-hours, schedules, and quality standards. - Utilizing piping design tools such as AutoCAD, SmartPlant, PDMS, Caesar II, E3D, and Navisworks, and conducting model reviews with clients. Your qualification should include a BE/ME Degree in Mechanical Engineering.,
