Role Overview: As a Senior Platform Engineer specializing in AI and prompt engineering, your primary responsibility will be to design, test, and optimize prompts for Generative AI applications across various business use cases. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, platform engineers, and risk teams to ensure compliant and scalable deployment of AI models. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing reusable prompt frameworks and documentation for consistent adoption across the enterprise. Your role will involve evaluating prompt effectiveness through A/B testing, BLEU, ROUGE, and human feedback metrics, integrating AI model APIs within enterprise environments, and identifying and mitigating prompt injection risks to adhere to enterprise AI governance and security standards. Furthermore, you will continuously iterate on model interaction design to enhance clarity, specificity, and contextual accuracy while aligning AI solutions with business objectives and compliance needs in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or Generative AI systems. - Hands-on experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, etc. - Strong understanding of prompt-response dynamics, tokenization, embeddings, and semantic similarity. - Proficiency in Python for automation and API integration. - Familiarity with JSON for structured outputs. - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or related field. - Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions. - Prior experience in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.
