Role Overview: As a Legal Associate in the aviation sector, your role will involve assisting in various legal aspects such as contract management, regulatory compliance, litigation, legal research, documentation, and providing general support to internal teams. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and vetting aviation-related contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing litigation and disputes, conducting legal research, maintaining legal records, and collaborating with different departments for legal inputs. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting aviation-related contracts such as ground handling agreements, lease agreements, fuel supply contracts, charter agreements, and vendor contracts. - Maintain contract repositories, track key contractual obligations, and renewals. - Support compliance with aviation regulator requirements such as DGCA, BCAS, AERA, and assist in preparing documentation for statutory filings, approvals, and licenses. - Coordinate with external counsels on litigation involving the airline, track legal notices, summons, and court dates. - Conduct legal research on aviation law, civil aviation requirements, consumer protection, and other relevant statutes. Assist in drafting responses to legal queries, notices, and regulatory communications. - Help maintain legal records, licenses, approvals, and compliance registers. - Liaise with internal teams for legal inputs, assist in internal audits, and policy drafting related to legal and compliance matters. As a Senior Officer in Risk & Compliance in Neokred, your role involves owning and executing end-to-end compliance, legal-risk governance, financial crime prevention, and product-risk alignment across all Neokred products and subsidiaries. Your responsibilities include managing regulatory correspondences, interpreting product and operational risks, and collaborating with banks, partners, internal teams, and external counsel to ensure timely and effective risk mitigation.
