Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer for onshore oil & gas projects in Vadodara, Gujarat, you will be responsible for various tasks including electrical system design, technical evaluations, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Perform HV, MV & LV electrical system design, load calculations, cable sizing, lighting calculations, and grounding system design. - Prepare and review single-line diagrams (SLD), cable schedules, layouts, and electrical deliverables as per project requirements. - Work closely with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation) for integrated design solutions. - Ensure all electrical designs comply with IEC, IS, IEEE, and O&G industry standards. - Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and evaluate vendor quotations. - Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications, engineering approvals, and equipment selection. - Support site teams during construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. - Review and approve engineering drawings, documents, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards. - Participate in HAZOP, safety reviews, and constructability reviews. - Ensure timely execution of engineering tasks as per project schedule. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of onshore oil & gas electrical systems. - Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, and MS Office. - Hands-on experience in preparing engineering deliverables. - Understanding of electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, generators, etc.). - Good communication and coordination skills. - Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight schedules. Educational Qualification: - B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. - M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.,
