As a Structural Engineer, your role involves conducting R.C.C structural checking and inspection as per drawings. You will be responsible for on-site measurements and verification, preparing structural audit reports, and documenting site visits. Effective coordination and communication with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams are essential aspects of your job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare R.C.C and structural steel drawings using AutoCAD
- Create Estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Develop Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
- Perform structural design calculations for RCC and steel structures
- Utilize structural design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETAB, RCDC, MS Excel, and Word for documentation and calculation reports
- Apply strong understanding and implementation of IS Codes (e.g., IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, etc.)
- Demonstrate good knowledge of RCC construction techniques and steel structures
- Maintain excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ensure strong attention to detail and follow proper documentation practices
Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETAB, RCDC, MS Excel, and Word
