Associate - Engineer

Role Overview:

The Chief Operating Office (COO) and CTO DWS Tech Division play a crucial role in delivering world-class services across key functions to ensure the company's future success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions to achieve business goals
- Build reliability and resiliency into solutions with thorough testing and reviewing
- Ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
- Architect, develop, and maintain UI components using React.js and JavaScript
- Define and enforce best practices for UI development, coding standards, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers for seamless interfaces
- Drive code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing processes
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions for scalable frontend systems

Qualifications Required:
- Overall experience of 4+ years with hands-on coding in Java & frontend development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, node.js, and React.js
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design
- Prior experience in Agile/scrum environment
- Proficient in any UI framework/library (REACT/ANGULAR/VUE/NEXT)
- Well versed with Data Structures, Algorithms, REST based Architecture, and Design Patterns
- Understanding of cross-browser, mobile-first development
- Experience with unit testing, GIT, Jenkins, CICD, Gradle, DevOps, and SRE techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant technology & science
- Technology certifications from industry-leading cloud providers
