Marine Assurance Superintendent

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for overseeing BU Cluster programs and campaigns to ensure compliance with legislative, industry, and client standards. Your role will involve conducting data-led analysis to identify performance trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Group-wide Assurance programs
- Engage with Fleet Teams to ensure compliance with Company procedures and HSSEQ initiatives
- Promote a safety culture and actively engage in safety and pollution prevention efforts
- Provide leadership and team management
- Monitor performance
- Coordinate PSC/vetting preparation and onboard assurance visits
- Review reports and conduct training
- Ensure security and environmental compliance
- Conduct office audits and fleet cell compliance
- Coordinate investigations

Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of experience sailing as a senior rank onboard
- Formal education in a relevant field of engineering or nautical studies
- Good interpersonal skills
- Recognized incident investigator qualification
- Experience in engaging with multinational teams
- Desirable qualifications include experience with relevant industry standards and systems, working knowledge of ISM, ISPS codes, and other statutory regulations
- Strong data analytical skills and report writing capabilities
