Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

As a Mobile Game Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and success of our existing and upcoming games. Your responsibilities will include:

- Creating and executing the QA project test plan, covering functionality, balance, stability, performance, interface, art, sound, text, documentation, and other aspects of testing.
- Testing games across various platforms to gain extensive knowledge of each.
- Finding, reproducing, and accurately reporting issues in detailed bug reports.
- Carrying out examination and revision of reported issues.
- Providing clear and concise critical analysis and feedback when requested.
- Participating in a close-knit, friendly atmosphere, sharing ideas, and helping others when needed.
- Learning about and adhering to our internal systems, software, and processes.
- Performing all types of testing including Functionality, Compatibility, Explorative, Usability, and Regression.
- Regularly exploring innovative methods to improve the testing process.
- Reporting encountered bugs in the bug database (Jira) with proper STR and attachment if needed.
- Providing feedback and suggestions to the development team regarding the game.
- Sending a daily status report to the team lead.
- Writing test cases and executing them.
- Escalating issues regarding team motivation, working, bonding, conflicts to the team lead, and suggesting viable actions.
- Mentoring and training juniors as per the requirement.
- Offering constant and relevant feedback related to progress, risks, and needs that may occur.
- Being proficient with QA Tools.
- Having experience in test script, test case, test suite, and test plan creation.
- Assisting the Production/Development team in tracking down issues and working out the steps to reproduce for easier fixing.

To be eligible for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

- Minimum 6 years of experience in mobile game testing.
- Competent gaming ability.
- An interest in and understanding of the video game industry.
- Good general PC knowledge, including experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Good standard of written English.,
