SpringSilicon
Robots, drones, autonomous vehicles, and heavy industry have all been left behind in the new world of artificial intelligence. While we've been shipping trillion-parameter models to the cloud, manufacturing, defense, energy, and transportation (the industries that actually build things) are starved for local intelligence, forced to run on outdated and inefficient compute systems.
Our founding team is from Harvard, Yale, and Brown. We have years of research experience in compilers, chip design, machine learning, and robotics. We believe strong hardware with weak software is worthless, and vice versa.
Spring Silicon is building full stack compute infrastructure (everything from compilers to ASICs) designed from the ground up for physical AI, rather than settling on scaled-down datacenter or consumer systems. We intend to become the preeminent vertical compute stack for edge inference in order to power the next generation of intelligent physical autonomy.
Backed by amazing investors including BoxGroup, Vine Ventures, SV Angel, and Valkyrie.
We're actively hiring full-time founding engineers for software (embedded systems, OS, compilers, kernels) and hardware (PCB, FPGA, ASIC); in-person at our Brooklyn Navy Yard office in NYC. Shoot us an email if interested.
