Easter is celebrated in many countries around the world. As one of the most important Christian festivals, this fun time is one of the holidays, festivals, and gifts of chocolate Easter eggs and flowers. It is time for family and friends to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Easter Significance

Easter is one of the oldest and most important Christian celebrations. To commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, this movable feast is always celebrated on the first Sunday following the full moon and changes from March 22nd to April 25th at the latest. During this time, churches and houses are decorated and filled with bright and beautiful floral arrangements, especially Easter lilies.

The reason Easter Lily is a traditional Easter flower is that, according to Christian beliefs, lilies sprung up, where in Christ’s last hours of sorrow and distress, His sweat fell to the ground. They are used to decorate the church during this celebration, symbolizing life, hope, forgiveness, purity, and virtue, for his resurrection.

Easter has two important days: Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Good Friday precedes Easter Sunday, Christians attend masses to commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion followed by family gatherings as a way to say thank you that Jesus Christ who died on the cross for their sins.

On Easter Sunday, family and friends will attend the Mass to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter Sunday festivals include large festive family meals, Easter egg hunting, and the giving of Easter gifts and flower arrangements. The house is decorated with elaborate Easter themes.

During Lent, fasting time prior to the Easter treat run is often forbidden, but on Easter Sunday, elders of family and friends are given the opportunity to hide Easter eggs in and around the house. The younger generation starts looking for hidden eggs. According to Christian beliefs, Easter eggs symbolize a new life in which the resurrection of Jesus Christ will give people eternal life.
