Sailing Poem by Richard D Remler

Sailing

.............................................

I've traveled through the folds of time,
And watched the worlds burn.

I've swept the stars of Oberon,
Never to return.

I've sailed the sea of Aether,
In the neverending blue,

And breathed her misty embers
Until twilight drifted through.

I've heard the Valholl maelstrom
Whisper legends to the deep,

And caught the Arnon whirlwind
As she gossiped in her sleep.

I've walked the streets of Aidenn,
Where the stars no longer glow,

And gazed into the emptiness
Of the gently falling snow.

Come and sail along this wild wind with me -
Let us share the dark and savage, silvered sky.

Let us drink in the starlit wonders o'er land and sea,
Before the whisper of tomorrow passes by

Let us soar through these wicked winds and touch the thunder,
And lose ourselves within its licorice array.

Let us sail this endless wave across tomorrow.
Until that haunt of day-spring calls us all away

A philosophy of life that takes into account the changing moods of nature brings us closer to lasting pleasures of soul. Thanks, Richard.
