I am David Chart. My first professional publication for Ars Magica was in 1993, and I was the Line Editor for the game for the end of fourth edition and the whole of fifth edition. Now that Atlas has released the line under an open license, I am planning to write more material for it under that license. Atlas have given me permission to start charging people before the licensing is finished, and until that point my paid patrons will have exclusive access to the material. Once the licensing is complete, patrons will get access first, but all the material created here will be under the open license, and thus available to everyone.Because everything created for this Patreon will, eventually, be available free to everyone, paid patrons do not get exclusive benefits, other than being part of the community supporting my creation. The more support I get, the more time I can justify spending on Ars Magica.The first project is a starter saga, for total novices, set in the Provençal Tribunal. If enough people support the Patreon, there may be more in the future.Thanks to Atlas for permission to start this Patreon before the licence was finalised, and to use the images at the top of the page.
