Shadow emerged from a collaboration with Paradigm EIRs Alvin and Emily Hsia, who approached Georgios Konstantopoulos and Caitlin Pintavorn with the idea of making onchain data more expressive and easier to work with. During their residency, Paradigm collaborated with them on their product shape, technical architecture, and early hiring. Shadow is now live with customers like OP Labs and Pendle Finance.

Conduit evolved out of a collaboration between Paradigm EIR Andrew Huang and Georgios Konstantopoulos. The Paradigm team had been thinking about infrastructure to support a rollup-centric, multi-chain world while Andrew had been thinking about ways to apply his web2 infrastructure experiences to crypto. A few months into Andrew’s residency with Paradigm, Conduit was born.

Pixie Chess emerged from EIR Josh Harris’s vision for a novel crypto game and financial experiment, inspired by chess, trading card games, and crypto structures like NounsDAO. Josh began developing Pixie Chess at Paradigm, aiming to create a game that taps into his belief that crypto is a massive virtual frontier full of adventure and technological progress. The project seeks to tap into users’ desires for value generation and to participate in something meaningful and exciting. Still in progress, Josh is actively seeking talented technical contributors to join the founding team and bring Pixie Chess to life.
