Babies Kept in Pain by UMass Medical School Experimenters

PETA supporters gathered directly in front of the entrance to the Boston Convention Center just as notorious experimenter Heather Gray-Edwards of UMass Chan began her talk at a conference. Attendees on their way in and out of the building couldn’t miss the protest calling out the university’s continued use of animals in cruel experiments and its unwillingness to follow even the most basic animal welfare standards.

With gas prices sky-high, PETA’s Commando Chicks came to the rescue of birds and budgets. Dressed in feathered fatigues, the radiant regiment reported for duty in Detroit to get passersby pumped about plant-powered eating by handing out delicious vegan chicken and 200 gallons of free gasoline.

Met Gala Mayhem! Bloody ‘Bird’ Upstages Celebs

As A‑listers offered first glimpses of their Met Gala looks, a PETA supporter burst onto the scene and shed her coat, revealing a striking pair of faux feathered wings and ‘bloody’ body paint. With “Feathers: A Look That Kills” written across her chest, this advocate gave the stars and throngs of paparazzi an up-close look at the plight of birds who are plucked repeatedly or simply killed for their feathers.

Cod or Cat?

That’s the food for thought an animal defender dished out in the city of Whitby, recently named the UK’s fish-and-chips capital. On the menu was “freshly caught Siamese & chips” at a bargain price. The provocative display highlighted that cats and fish are the same in all the ways that matter.
