Lambshead Studio Ceramics on Instagram: "So I finally decided to try the @vevor.official Manual Cold Roll Laminator (~150$) hack as a substitute for a clay Slab Roller (~900$). It’s adjustable so you can change the thickness of your slab, and I use 2 dowels to make sure the roll is even. The only real downside is that the handle isn’t robust enough to handle thicker materials so you’ll need to start with a flattened slab of clay so that you can roll it through smoothly. But hey, that’s work I’m willing to do to save $800! Have you tried this? Have other tips? Let me know!
