How to create a sea shell macrame pattern
Learn how to create this cute sea shell knot pattern. This one might take a little practice to get the space left between the knots right 😆 Visit my website for more macrame info and tips Method: • Step 1: Starting with the cord on the left (cord 1) as the filler cord, tie a row of diagonal clove hitch knots down towards the right. • Step 2: Leave the cord on the right. Using cord 7, tie a row of clove hitch knots back the other way, diagonally under the first row. This will begin to form the lines of the shell. • Step 3: Repeat this process using the new cord 7. • Step 4: Once again using the cord on the left, leave some space and tie another row of clove hitch knots that get closer to the previous row as you move to the right. • Step 5: Repeat this process using the new cord 1.

How to tie a diamond clove hitch/square knot macrame pattern
A tutorial showing how to create this stunning macrame knot pattern using clove hitch knots and a square knot. Visit my blog for more macrame info & tips along with some parenting and mindfulness posts Instructions: • Step 1: Begin with 10 cords hanging down (this can be done with less - it would just mean the pattern would be smaller & the square knot have less filler cords) • Step 2: Holding the 5th cord from the left in your right hand, tie 5 diagonal clove hitch knots down towards the right-hand side • Step 3: Take the new 5th cord across in your left hand and tie 4 diagonal clove hitch knots down towards the left-hand side • Step 4: Using the 2nd cord in from the left and right, tie a square knot around all of the cords in the middle (filler cords) • Step 5: Hold the right-most
