Cats-Snowshoe

A new breed, cross Siamese and American Shorthair, originating in the USA about 1960 In 1993 the Snowshoe cat was recognized by the International Cat Association.They are very social & intelligent, they love water, they are vocal but not as noisy as a Siamese.They are a short hair cat,usually with blue, lilac and chocolate brown points.They can live to 15 but the life expectancy is usually about 10 yrs.They have 4 white feet but the rules for breed is not as stringent as the Birman cat.
