While traveling through central Nebraska we encountered many fun and interesting stops along the way. Traveling down Highway 30, we stopped at Gothenburg. Gothenburg is home to 2 Pony Express Stations. These locations are filled with history and are great educational family-friendly travel destinations. In North Platte, Nebraska we stopped at 2 of our favorite Midwest attractions, The Golden Spike Tower and Visitors Center overlook the Union Pacific Railroad yard.
