Ooh. First thing first, we're going to grab ourselves some sweet potato noodles. Alright, so high heat. I'll fill this with water. One quarts of water. Alright, so I'm going to throw this in. Alright, once that's boiling, we're going to go for 6 minutes. Alright, let's go. Time is on. So, while this is going for 6 minutes, we're going to chop up our vegetables, onion, Boom. Mushroom. Red pepper. It's all we probably need. I got some earwood mushroom here. You know what earwood mushroom is? No. But you have it in chopped chip right? You tasted this before right? Yeah yeah. Carrot. 45 seconds? Yeah. Ha. 40 down. Thirty-five. Thirty-four. Thirty-three. Thirty-two. Come on. Alright, done. Kinda cheated on that. I shoulda chopped that up. I gotta really take that out here. Alright, so we're going to drain this out. Gonna give that a quick rinse. Just a quick rinse. Just taking the Star Chop from the sweet potato. Boom. Alright. Let that sit. So that's 150 grams of vegetables. And 150 grams of noodles. Alright? So fifty 50. Now on the same cutting board I'm going to cut some beef in there. Okay? Alright. 50 grams of beef. Just small bite size. Give me a different chicken or anything else. I guess you can go chicken but I've never heard of I've never actually had chopped chip with chicken in it. But we do make it for customers if that's what they want sometimes you know. But my preference I I like beef in it. Alright so now we have everything ready. Let's get to the cooking part. Alright let's go. So high heat. Splash of oil. I'll throw in our meat. Just like that. Half a tablespoon of garlic. I'll give that a nice little stir. Whoo. Alright just a little bit of soy sauce on here. Cuz the noodles and the vegetables going to be seasoned. You know so I definitely want the beef to be seasoned as well too. Alright now I'm going to throw all my vegetables in. Just going to throw everything together except the spinach. We're going to saute that for about a minute. Alright now I'm going to throw in my noodles. Alright three tablespoon of soy sauce. Two tablespoon of sesame oil, half a tablespoon of oyster sauce, tablespoon of sugar, a tablespoon of corn syrup, a little bit of black pepper, and half a tablespoon of sesame seeds. This is where we're going to add the spinach. You add the spinach at the end. It really takes really quick to just cook off the spinach. So here it is. Boom. And all the vegetables. I would throw it on top like that. Ooh. Let's go. You want to finish it with some sesame seed? Our moment of truth. Let's go. Mm. I like my cookie. Mm. Try this recipe out. I promise your friends will be impressed. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you guys in the next video. Yep as hell.
NYT Cooking: In Japanese, “yamitsuki” means addictive — a precise description of this seemingly humble side dish of cabbage, gently torn and simply anointed with sesame oil and seeds, garlic, black pepper and a fingerprint’s worth of salt. So few ingredients, so little time required, and you can’t stop eating it. Often served at izakayas, the Japanese equivalent of pubs, the cabbage is especially good for refr
