Jeep Car Brand Logos

The Jeep logo contains its brand name. Its color is khaki. This color is similar to army color. Because the brand was created to meet the needs of the Army in World War II, it proves its heritage. Also, there is an additional symbol of Jeep. Which consists of seven vertical lines and two circles. These seven lines are similar to those on the front of the Jeep. Jeep Logo Vector 1941

Jeep’s first logo consists of two lines. In the top line, the word Jeep is written in capital letters. While the name of three brands is written in the bottom line. The first word “J” in Jeep is bigger than all the other words. And the word Jeep is written in red color. While below it, the names of three brands namely Bantam, Willys and Ford are written in black. And there is a full stop between these three names. Originally these three brands came together to form Jeep in the beginning. Bantam designed the car while Willys made some improvements in design and Ford mass-produced it.

Jeep Logo Vector 1945

1945 saw some major changes in the Jeep logo. The brand names that were previously included in its name have now been dropped. They were removed because the copyright was now held solely by Willys. If we talk about the logo, the word Jeep is written in black. Logo first word J is capitalized while the other three words are in lowercase. And a sleek is added at the beginning and end of the logo which gives it a very elegant look. While it is written within inverted commas to give it a touch of interest and design.

Color Switch

In 1963, the Jeep logo was converted into a batch. The entire exterior of this beach is in silver color which gives it a very elegant look. While the batch is divided into five parts overall. Two of the four sections are colored dark yellow. While two are red in color. And these four parts are separated with a silver line. And between the top two parts and the bottom two parts, the word Jeep is written. There is no change in the font of the Jeep. It is in the same serif font as before. While its color switched to dark yellow.

In this logo, Jeep eliminated the batch. And the word Jeep is written in bold sans-serif typography. The dark yellow color was converted to black. Since then, the brand has not made any big changes in font of the logo.

Once again within the 1970s Jeep changed its logo. It contains an icon wordmark. IIcon consisted of two geometric shapes, a rectangle and a triangle. Red colored triangle touches the upper corner of the vertically arranged blue rectangle. If looked closely, the geometric shape represents the word JP, an abbreviation of the brand name.

When Chrysler bought Jeep in 1987, they changed the logo. Now with Jeep, Chrysler’s Penta Star also appeared. It was exactly like the Chrysler pentastar, which is made up of five triangles with a space left between them to form a star. Placed on black square, the logo was in white color.
