When we don’t properly use our diaphragm when we don’t properly expand our rib cage, and when we overuse our neck accessory muscles, it produces all of the symptoms you may be experiencing. There are several ways to go about fixing your breathing, but one thing we can definitely work on is expanding your rib cage, and opening up your thoracic spine so you can get more chest expansion and allow your diaphragm to do it’s thing. In this video, I explain the situation and show a simple exercise to get started with.
