Agamemnon - Wikipedia
In Greek mythology, Agamemnon was the brother of Menelaus, the husband of Clytemnestra, and the father of Electra and Orestes. When Helen, the wife of Menelaus, was abducted by Paris of Troy, Agamemnon commanded the united Greek armed forces in the ensuing Trojan War. On Agamemnon's return from Troy he was murdered by Aegisthus, the lover of his wife Clytemnestra. In other versions Clytemnestra herself does the killing, or they do it together, in his own home.

The Pleiades (1885) - Elihu Vedder; The Pleiades (Maia, Electra, Taygete, Alcyone, Celaeno, Sterope/Asterope, Merope) were the 7 daughters of the titan Atlas & the sea-nymph Pleione. Several Olympian gods engaged in affairs with the sisters. After Atlas was forced to carry the heavens on his shoulders, Orion began to pursue the Pleiades. Zeus transformed them into stars to comfort their father. The constellation of Orion is said to still pursue them across the night sky.

Seven years later, Orestes returned from Athens and with his sister Electra avenged his father's death by slaying his mother and her lover Aegisthus.
