The Art Appetizer Blog by Karen Elaine. Creative inspiration for all.
Origami folded book by Karen Elaine Thomas. This book was made with more neutral colors to offset the content as an idea for the projects in Origami Card Craft. Sage green and soft peach rice papers were cut 6" square and stamped with black ink before folding and gluing. The covers were made with book binding boards and decorative paper which were glued to the front and back of the folded book for a more finished look.

This amazing paper beetle is designed and folded by Shuki Kato. It’s folded from a single 22″ square of tracing paper and has a nearly 10″ wingspan. Check out other of his folding work at http://www.flickr.com/photos/origami-artist-galen/with/6113258008/#photo_6113258008
