What you need to know about Sahale Glacier Camp in the north cascades: - Sleeping over is by permit only. - it’s 14-16 miles round trip with 4,000+ feet gain - so it’s not for everyone - the only consistent water source is at the top so bring water - about a 3 hour drive from Seattle - parking lot doesn’t open until the snow melts This one holds a large place in my adventure heart.
