Nathan Mid Century Modern drinks cabinet / sideboard / media unit. We cleaned and sanded the whole unit before paint the main body in Bayberry by Fusion mineral paint. The top has been sanded back to bare wood then given 3 coats of varnish. This has brought the grain out beautifully as well as adding durability. This sage green colour really compliments this piece perfectly, we have the piece a lift on black hairpin legs. We think this really elevates the piece giving it a modern twist. Last time I made my green arched cabinet almost a year ago, I made a TON of kerf cuts on some 3/4” plywood and steamed it in order for it to bend like this. This time around, I’m using bendable plywood that I got from my local lumber warehouse and my goodness, it made my life so much easier! 🙌🏻 I used the thinner 3mm ply for the inside because in my opinion, it’s too thin to put on the outside. Then used the 9mm ply for the outside. They were pretty bendy and flexible, so I didn’t have to fight with it when installing! Next up, let’s make these arched doors using the other half of the ring I cut out of MDF (the first half was used to make Build Arched Cabinet, Plywood Craft Ideas, Arch Shelf Diy, Adding Arch To Bookcase, Diy Arched Shelves, Arched Cabinet Ikea Hack, Ikea Arched Cabinet, Diy Rounded Cabinet, Arch Cabinet Built In
