FYI, you will have some prep beforehand- you will need to trim the weather stripping to ensure that the panels won’t move when you open the door. We found it easiest to take off the trim and cut it with a table-saw, for an extra clean line. Each panel is labeled with a number that way you know exactly where to start. I also love the magnetic garage door hardware, I think it really upgraded the look. If you have any questions at all, please reach out! Step two of our Exterior Makeover is complete ✅ After painting our stone white (which the internet totally freaked out about!) I decided that our outdated garage door needed some attention too! After pressure washing the area to get rid of all of the nasty built up grime, I painted it a neutral base color. I decided to test out a few different stain combinations to modernize it and give it a wood grain look. 

I decided on a stain color and got to work! After that was all done I decided to add on some magnetic garbage “jewelry”, only to discover that my garage door isn’t actually magnetic after all 🤦🏼‍♀️ I used some adhesive and then a pin nailer to hold everything in place.
