Microwave in the kitchen

The objective was to update the kitchen in this 100-year-old home while keeping it cohesive to the adjacent spaces. Storage was an issue and every available inch needed to be maximized. There was also a desire to have a separate microwave area that would be "his" space while the rest of the kitchen would be "hers."

There may be a better location about to reveal itself...
